The Beach and ocean looking off the Vanderbilt back porch, of their Summer Cottage.

The front of the cottage. The copper and craftsmanship were wonderous (above) Below is a slide show of the numerous fireplaces throughout the mansion.

Even the ceilings were opulent and works of art. The green wall in the last picture is, actually, leather and pressed gold!

All of the room were ultra luxurious for the day. The beds were tiny. (above) The super modern kitchen and bathroom (below). Billiard table, angel lamp (Brandon) and a grandfather clock thrown in for good measure.
